Xray of a Woman is an invitation to look beneath the surface - not at the body as the world sees it, but as it exists from the inside. Built from hand-made texture paste, the work creates the sensation of peering into a woman’s body, layer by layer. Black acrylic and white alcohol ink move over the surface like breath and bone, revealing something raw, structural and deeply intimate.
Part of the Scars of a Woman series, this work explores the interior life of the female body — its architecture, its resilience and sometimes how we can feel like we're not being fully seen - as though they're looking right through us.
