The Invitation

Once a month, on a Sunday evening, a small group of creative women gather around a table. You bring a plate to share and a bottle if you'd like one and you come as you are.

There's no more than ten of us, including me. You don't have to be a painter. If you see yourself as creative, a photographer, a dancer, a maker of any kind, there's a seat here for you.

What the evening feels like

We start with food, because everything good starts with food. The first while is easy, we eat, we talk, we get to know each other, we let the room warm up. Candlelight, soft music, oil burning somewhere in the background. Gezellig.

Then we clear the table and we sit, and the real conversation begins. Every dinner has a theme, and it always comes back to the same place, not the how to, but the why not. Why you're not charging what you know your work is worth. What's actually holding you back. Usually it isn't skill, it's something quieter, and we sit with it together.

I'll share some of my own story. You'll each have the space to share yours, and to hear it reflected back by women who understand. Somewhere in the evening, over a shared meal and an honest conversation, something shifts.

What you leave with

You leave having been seen and heard. You leave with a handful of women who get it, the beginnings of a creative community you didn't have that morning. And you leave with a clearer sense of what's been in your way, and permission to move past it.

The Dinners are the gentlest way in. A single evening, an easy first taste of the deeper work I do in the Immersions and the Residency. No pressure, just a good meal and a real conversation.

The Practical Part

$75 per person. You bring a dish and any wine you'd like to share. I'll send you a simple list to choose your dish from, so we end up with a proper spread and nobody doubles up.

Dinners begin at my home in Hoppers Crossing, and over time they'll travel to other artists' tables across Melbourne. If you'd love to host one, there's a way to do that, and I'll tell you more when you come.
