The Light Behind

This work holds the weight of my marriage separation, a year marked by grief, silence & the shattering of who I thought I was. The scars across her face speak to the pain of that loss, carved deep & unrelenting. Yet even in the shadows, a faint warmth glows in the background; the promise of a light still within me. Though dimmed, it never went out. That light became my compass, reminding me that if I keep moving through the darkness, I will find my new path and a new life that’s waiting to be lived.
