Some paintings don't arrive with a plan. They just form into themselves.
Golden Dreams is one of those. Painted in alcohol ink, the piece moves and settles in ways you can't predict. The gold threads through the surface like something found, not placed. There's an intricacy here that still surprises me. Once the ink has done it's work I then hand brush the ink to soften the edges.
