Firestorm began as an intuitive acrylic paint pour and became a beautiful surprise.
There was no fixed plan when this piece began. The paint moved in its own wild direction and slowly, a firestorm began to appear. Once the image began to emerge, Ludwina picked up her brushes and started refining the composition; pulling out details, highlighting movement, deepening the contrast and creating more negative space so the energy of the piece could breathe.
The result is dramatic, bold and full of heat. Rich reds, molten golds, deep blacks and flashes of orange move across the surface like fire sweeping through darkness.
